I've probably carved enough stone animal sculptures to occupy a small ark. These are just a few of my favorites. Animals are a wonderful subject for an artist; they can be highly detailed, realistic statues or simplified to create iconic images. Often I will exaggerate them to create my whimisical gargoyles or carictures. Throughout the history of art, anthropomorphised animals have represented human emotions and characteristics.
